Zhangjiajie, China
The famous Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China. The image beautifully showcases the cliffside plank roads and the glass skywalk cantilevered over the vertical drop, alongside traditional Chinese pavilions with upturned eaves nestled on the mountaintop. Zhangjiajie is globally renowned for its rare quartz sandstone peak forest landforms, which served as the real-world inspiration for the floating "Hallelujah Mountains" in the movie Avatar.
